I confess to being a hardcore Liverpool FC fan. But,at the same time, the views expressed by me are completely unbiased and "heart felt".The Record signings of Andy Carroll, Luis Suarez, Stewart Downing, Jordan Henderson, Charlie Adam, Jose Enrique promised to fill the "void" the team was left with after the departure of the likes of Xabi Alonso, Javier Mascherano, Fernando Torres, Alvaro Arbeloa.Unfortunately, the move backfired.Excluding Enrique and Suarez, none of the other record signings have proved their mettle as of now. However, things do look bright on Merseyside after the cherished Carling Cup victory over Cardiff City.A major achievement in recent years. On the flipside, the attacking & instinctive football gameplay adopted by Kenny Dalglish and his men have been highly talked about and appreciated, even though the points table tell a different story. I reckon, this is a pivotal stage where the club's undergoing a transformation process & boy, it takes time.
Liverpool, having booked a Semi-Final spot in the FA cup, would now look to do a Cup double & only time will tell if it happens! Yes, they are not keeping up with the Premier League "Top 4" Status, but hell with it.Remember, Liverpool is the most successful English Side in the European Scene & an uprisal is on the cards certainly after the "re-building process" gets over.A couple of years,i believe.
You'll Never Walk Alone.
